Shipping
Because our coops, stables, and larger accessories are big, heavy items, most orders ship via freight carrier rather than standard parcel delivery. A few things to know:
- Processing time: Small accessories typically leave our facility within 3–5 business days of purchase. Structures (coops, barns, stalls) are built to order and typically take 2–4 weeks before shipping.
- Freight delivery: Structures ship flat-packed on a pallet via freight carrier and require full assembly on arrival. You'll receive tracking information once your order ships, and the carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery window.
- Delivery access: Freight deliveries are curbside — the driver is not responsible for carrying items to your yard, barn, or coop site. Please make sure someone is available to help unload, and that your delivery location is accessible for a freight truck.
- Smaller accessories (feeders, latches, bedding, etc.) ship via standard parcel carrier and follow normal delivery timelines.
- Shipping cost: Calculated at checkout for accessories. Structures ship via freight quote based on your delivery location — the exact cost is calculated at checkout.
- Assembly: All structures are flat-packed and require full assembly on-site. Assembly instructions are included with your order.
Returns
Because many of our products are large, made-to-order, or built specifically for freight shipping, our return policy differs by product type:
Small accessories (feeders, waterers, bedding, hardware, latches, etc.)
- Returnable within 30 days of delivery, unused and in original packaging
- Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs
- Refunds issued to original payment method within 5–7 business days of us receiving the return
Coops, stables, and other structures
- Because these are built and shipped freight, they are final sale once assembled or installed
- Unopened, unassembled structures may be returned within 14 days of delivery, subject to a 20% restocking fee to cover freight costs
- Custom or made-to-order items are not eligible for return unless damaged or defective on arrival
Damaged or defective items
- Please inspect your delivery before signing for it, and note any visible damage with the freight carrier
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of any damage or defects, and we'll arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you
Warranty
Meadow Manor Co. stands behind the durability of everything we sell. Structures and accessories are covered as follows:
- Structures (coops, stables, barns, run-in sheds): 5-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Covers structural issues like warping, failed hardware, or panel defects — not damage from weather events, misuse, or normal wear.
- Accessories (feeders, waterers, latches, automatic doors, etc.): 1-year manufacturer's warranty against defects.
- What's not covered: Damage from improper installation, extreme weather, pests, or normal wear and tear (e.g. bedding, mats).
- To make a claim: Contact us with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos. We'll work with you on a repair, replacement part, or replacement unit.
